Requirements Change for ADA Signage

Signs On Time tries to keep up with he most current requirements for the parking lot signs (as well as all others ADA requirements).

According to our records, this is the most current change. instead of the old 24"x18" blue and white reflective sign, the requirement is now 24"x24" black and white reflective sign. Most people are still requesting the older signs, so we try to keep both in stock.

New Offices & Lobby Lettering

Thunder Valley Casino

Last week, we spent some time at Thunder Valley Casino. They upgraded the look of some of their walls. 

These letters are made of a heavy duty black plastic. We also made the small plaques under each photo. They are 1"x3" black plexi glass with a black background and gold engraved letters. The plaques identify each person and their title.

Roseville High School Turns 100!

That's right, Roseville High School is turning 100 on September 2nd! Signs On Time made their banners for the downtown streets of Roseville.

The banners always seem bigger in the shop, than on the light poles.

What Are Your Hours?

If you look close, you can see the store hours off to the left and right of the double doors.

White decals stand out best! As you can see, all windows have a slight tint to them. This is why a lighter colors will stand out best.

If you want a subtle look to your window lettering, you can have a darker color (like red, gray, forest green or something like that) and it won't stand out very much.

Vehicle Lettering for All Sizes

A common question that we get here is "what is a standard size for vehicle lettering?". There isn't really a standard size for vehicles. There is a lot that can be done. You can cover you vehicle (like a billboard) or you can put the basic information. Where you are putting the information and what you want to put on it all depends on the size. Here is an example of what we can do for you:

If you take a step back, you can see that this is a horse trailer. This lettering works perfect for this space. If this customer wanted, we could have completely covered the trailer.

Score Board Sponsor Signage

A little while back, Signs On Time had made some sponsor signs for the local high school. There were sponsors that needed to be added to their score board.

These signs are 2'x3' signs. Don't they look so small (but, they fit perfectly with the rest of the board). It always depends on where you place your signage as to how big (or small) it may look. It also depends on the surroundings. It there are multiple small(er) things around your big(ger) signage, it will look bigger. Perspective is everything.

Ready to Slide into Home!

McBean Park in Lincoln asked us to make some 3 dimensional letters for them. They wanted something easy to read, nice looking and inexpensive. It looks so small from a distance and they look metal.

But, when you look up close, they are actually 18" tall plastic letters. You can't really tell that they're plastic, until you're right ton top of them.

Take another look. Looks like metal letters to me.

Vista Systems

Signs On Time has a new product! We now offer Vista Systems. Vista Systems have so many uses. Here is one use that we just installed a few weeks ago for a newer building that wanted a modern look for their monument sign.

Vista Systems is a curved type of sign that can be changed out as needed (if needed). This particular sign will rarely needed to be changed out.

Window Lettering

Here is some window lettering that we made and installed for a local jeweler. Of course, the customer wanted to keep a part of the window open to show off the jewelery and we designed this to accommodate.

The background is burgundy with gold lettering. This window gets direct sun and (during summer months) heat for over half the day and the vinyl material that we used will hold up in these conditions. This came out really good and the customer was extremely happy to see it complete when he came back from vacation.

MDO Signage

Here is a sign that we made for one of our customers. This sign is made of 1/2" thick MDO that is 50"x48".

The sign is attached to 2 wooden posts outside the office so their customers can see the entrance easily.

If you have a difficult entrance or hard to find place of business, one of these site signs will help your customers find your place with ease. The colors on the sign are unlimited. We can print your logo or anything you would like on the sign. The MDO can be single or double sided. If the sign would be facing two ways to enter, you may want to think about a double sided sign.
